A theater without supporters cannot play a part in its community. Ticket sales make up only a portion of our budget, as with other non-profit theaters. When you come to a performance at the Powerhouse, your enthusiasm for the work and your interest in its future are indispensable. Vassar College and New York Stage and Film's Powerhouse Theater are a not-for-profit venture dedicated to the development and production of new work by emerging and established artists and the education of future theater professionals.
