Vassar College and New York Stage and Film Present Powerhouse Theater

News

Take a closer look at both "We Are Here" and "Bonfire Night" (Roll, 10 June 2010).

We Are Here director Sheryl Kaller called playwright Tracy Thorne’s new work “one of the most beautiful plays I’ve ever read. We Are Here speaks to me as a mother and it speaks to me as a humanitarian.” While Bonfire Night director Alex Timbers noted that this new musical is “about fraternity and loyalty and the sacrifices you’ll make. Having an all-male cast will amplify that in an exciting way.” Playwright Justin Levine noted that with this work he shows his interest “in theater that brings up questions and not necessarily answers.”
